Hello, I’m

Van AJ Vanguardia

Full-stack software developer.

For more than three years, I have built web and mobile applications with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and ASP.NET Core. My work covers requirements, interface development, APIs, databases, testing, and deployment.

I am based in Cebu, Philippines. I use coding agents for research, implementation, and review, then verify the result with tests, browser checks, and direct code review.

01My work

Products I designed and built.

Relay, Roleway, Viya, and ACSFI cover social sports, job-search operations, mobile travel, and nonprofit publishing. Together they show how I handle product scope, interface design, domain modeling, backend architecture, content systems, testing, and release. Each case study links to the public source where it is available.

02Tech stack

TypeScript for the product. Backend systems around it.

I use TypeScript across web, mobile, and Node.js services. ASP.NET Core, relational databases, cloud platforms, testing tools, and deployment automation support the rest of the system when the work requires them.

Product development

Clarify the requirement, map the user flow, build the interface and supporting system, then revise it against real behavior.

Requirements · UX · implementation · iteration

Full-stack implementation

Connect typed interfaces to authenticated APIs, domain rules, databases, background work, and external services.

Web · mobile · backend · data

AI integration

Validate model output, isolate providers, provide deterministic fallbacks, and require user review before generated changes affect stored data.

LLM integration · agents · validation

Testing and release

Use automated tests, accessibility checks, performance review, documentation, and repeatable deployment steps before release.

05About

I care about what happens after the first release.

I start with the user’s task and choose the simplest architecture that can support it. I care about clear interfaces, accessible behavior, performance, documentation, and code that remains easy to test and change. AI tools help me move faster, but I still review the decisions and verify the behavior.
